Greetings! I’m Megs. I live in Balmain, Sydney and some would call me a little scrambled.
A couple of years ago, I moved into an apartment with my friend Dennis. One night he asked me if I wanted to give spaghetti bolognese a go with his guidance. I was eating a lot of take away and I could barely manage instant noodles at that point, so I found the idea a little daunting. I remember how great it felt ticking the tomato splattered recipe paper off as I popped the last ingredient into the pot. So fun! I then started to bake, trying cookies out for my very enthusiastic partner.
More recently, I found myself a lovely home with a cute little kitchen and I decided to give cooking an important place in my life.
As I am still very much finding my feet in the kitchen, I use a lot of recipe books and blogs for instruction and inspiration, and as I become more confident, add my own touches and make alterations. Occasionally I come up with my own recipes. I hope that my personal journey will encourage people to share recipes that they love. I am enjoying the challenge of learning to eat a little better and thought I’d share my culinary journey with anyone interested in hearing about it.

Well I certainly admire your enthusiasm and I would imagine that you are getting a big thumbs up from your boyfriend too, as it is said that a way to a mans heart is through some wickedly offered food recipes and I think that your adventures so far have been brilliant…
I haven’t toured your whole Space yet but I find you a rather nice peep with a delicious looking… Hey Space is what I am saying, I hope that you will be experimenting further with your new found baking and cooking, as life in the kitchen is a most wonderful place to be if cooking and baking is your forte, and experimentation is a very good way of learning your own preferences in cooking too so good luck with your ongoing quest my friend…
Have a lovely rest of day and
equally a most delightful weekend also…
